This morning the media is all a buzz over an actor’s comments before members of Congress. I have heard the word Hero tossed around as part of the conversation. The Heroes are those who went into the burning towers knowing they may never come out. The Heroes are the American who signed up for military service to go after the people who killed over 3,000 Americans on that day. Unfortunately in America today the word Hero is misused and misunderstood.
An actor who speaks out is not a Hero, he is someone using his God given talent to help others. At no time was he in danger. Empty seats at a Congressional Meeting are not scary, just normal. Normal like the empty seats in the NYS Legislature when they don’t think enough cameras will be in the audience.
